Of course they do bloom but I pick most of the bloom off until fall when I let them go to seed so I can plant them in the spring...
This onefrom last year got really big and beautiful. They love the full sun and are so easy to just pick off a stem and stick it down in the dirt to start one for a friend.
This is the curley leafed one I saved from last year. But I can't remember it's name, sorry. And lots of new babies if anyone wants any... just call me...
This is a new one called Defiance it is really red..
Curley leafed one again...

We sure had lots of rain yesterday so we won't have to water for a while, maybe I will get something done in the house today... lol
I live in North Central West Virginia, I am 57 years old and have been married to the same wonderful man for 38 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters and a new son-in-law and 2 dogs.
I love to grow things, lots of things. But most of all I love flowers. Spring can't come too soon for me each year. I usually start planting and propagating in early February. Just so I can play in some soil. This is a great outlet for me.
I was also a Tole and Decorative Painting teacher for 27 years. I had artwork featured at the Whitehouse, Smithsonian, and the Blairhouse in Washington,DC.
In 2004 I was invited for dinner at the Whitehouse with the other artists featured at Christmas. It was amazing.
