Last winter when I was working at WVU Greenhouse I brought some little pieces of some plants home with me. I have no idea what they are but they are sure cute. One of them bloomed yesterday. What a cute purple flower. The one big one has little babies that keep falling off and making new plants. They are outside in a pot and growing like crazy. I'm not great at taking care of inside winter plants, but I guess I have to take care of these this winter. Maybe they will go to school with me too.
I live in North Central West Virginia, I am 57 years old and have been married to the same wonderful man for 38 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters and a new son-in-law and 2 dogs.
I love to grow things, lots of things. But most of all I love flowers. Spring can't come too soon for me each year. I usually start planting and propagating in early February. Just so I can play in some soil. This is a great outlet for me.
I was also a Tole and Decorative Painting teacher for 27 years. I had artwork featured at the Whitehouse, Smithsonian, and the Blairhouse in Washington,DC.
In 2004 I was invited for dinner at the Whitehouse with the other artists featured at Christmas. It was amazing.
