Today was a GREAT DAY!!!

It was my first official day of Summer Break from school. A phone call woke me letting me know I would be back at the same school I have been at for 4 years. My position had been cut but another aide bid out and I bid right back in... So now I don't have to worry about which school I will be going to next year!!! You know I really love it there...

So since it was such a beautiful morning I stayed up and went straight outside. Even though I really wanted to sleep in my first day home!!! LOL

As you know I had a wonderful little greenhouse going inside this winter and I grew way to many flowers. But I am finding places for them and giving lots away. I love to share...

Look at the Marigolds that were just babies not to long ago. We are taking them to the Veterans Square downtown this week along with lots of perennials to plant. These were grown from the seeds from last years plants. I wasn't sure they would be true to the original plant but they look great...
This is the first official bloom on Miss Petunia I am so excited to see a bloom, I wasn't sure how they would do in all the straw but "IT IS WORKING"...Can you see it right below her arm? This is my Bird and Herb Garden where Miss Petunia is planted, it is really big, tonight I started putting the coleus all around the edges. I planted 82, I'm about 3/4 the way finished. We started this bed about 6-7 years ago for my mother-in-law so she could watch her birds. It is right off her kitchen windows and she loves it... It has been wonderful since she lives right behind us.See all those little babies....

Lots of shrubs with flowers and berries for the birds, butterflies and honey bees...
Have A Good One,
Lynn
