Foodie Friday at Designs by Gollums: http://designsbygollum.blogspot.com/
Go check out all the great recipes today...

A few years ago I ask my dad to write down his recipe for his potato salad. He is 83 years old now and I am so glad he gave me the recipe. We have gobbled this up for years. He loves making it for it all of us. I hope to keep this recipe going for years to come...
We need to grab all the old recipes of our parents a write them down and take wonderful pictures to remember them by. Dad had such a good time showing off his recipe....

My Dads potato salad

6 Potatoes cooked and cubed
4 or 5 boiled eggs sliced
1/2 cup diced green peppers
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced radishes

Dressing:
3 Tbs. Miracle Whip
1 Tbs. sugar (or to taste)
1/4 cup white vinegar

Mix all with Dressing, season with salt and pepper. Add paprika to top when finished.
Have a Great Foodie Friday,
Lynn

Well if it's your dad's, I've got to try. Because all the recipes I get from my dad are great! Stop by and visit my food post; if you like what you see, click on the "Follow" button on the right. Also, think about placing my boutique button on your site for easy access. It's the Gold Frame on the top right side that has porcelain roses. Should you want me to add you to my Food Blog list, just leave me a message.

Hi Lynn,
Great picture of your Dad. His potato salad is almost identical to my Mom's. You're right about their old recipes. We should treasure them. When you make them, after they're gone, you can almost feel your parent in the kitchen with you.

Hello! Glad you found me. I am completely lost with this blogging thing. All I really know how to do is write. I am glad someone is "officially" a follower. Lots are reading and commenting, but not making one. Oh well. Have a great weekend.
