Looking Forward to a Beautiful Weekend...

This weekend is suppose to be a Beautiful one. Kind of like the calm before the storm... Monday-Tuesdays storm is suppose to be the BIG ONE!!! West Virginia is suppose to get hit hard...

Remember me... I'm the one who hates winter!!! ENOUGH ALREADY.... I want Spring. But maybe our groundhog might not see his Shadow on Monday ! That is a good thing...

The sun did try to sneak through the dark clouds on Thursday evening, only to let the snow come down again this morning. After a 2 hr. delay today it hit just as I was pulling into school, like a white out, putting down about another inch in just what seemed like minutes... Then letting way for some beautiful sun glistening on the fresh snow....

As you can see that sun was still lighting up my dinning room when I arrived home this evening. See I did sneak some plants into this picture, for my garden blog!!! LOL

But of course the little tree that stays up year round still has showmen decking it out. They usually stay there until early March...
Also on this tree are an array of Antique Spoons and Forks I have been collecting just to add to the tree. "SEE MY GARDEN SNOWWOMAN???"

Hope everyone stays in and keeps warm this weekend, watching the Super Bowl. At least here the sun should be shinning that day. We are having a party Sunday to cheer on our Steelers, and also celebrating the 19th Anniversary of My 35th Birthday!!!!

Have A Good One,

Lynn

I'm pretty apathetic about the Super Bowl this year, but I'll cheer the Steelers on for you, Lynn! Almost missed that last line--happy anniversary, LOL!

I hope the big storm misses you; I'm sooo tired of winter already, too.

Oh, and thanks for the tip on Nina's blog; I do visit her once a week, though I should visit more often. I agree her writing is so poetic, and the photos are just as impressive.

First, Happy 35th! LOL .. I have children older than you :)

I love your little tree, how clever to collect spoons for decoration.

The sun is shining here, on top of our almost 2 foot accumulation of snow!

....had to come back, I giggled when I saw your inverted age .. so that would make me 6 years old :)

You have done an amazing job on your couch. It's great that you're taking pictures as you progress!

What a unique idea on how to show off collectibles!
