Things are looking up!!!

Meet Herman... Our little bird that stays with us all winter. He lives right here behind the thermometer all year. Only in the winter he takes out the nest and just roosts behind it. But this week he built his new nest. We will have babies soon. Last summer we had three sets of babies... It is a mess but I love seeing them.
Things are definitely looking up, both parents are home from hospital now and doing well...
So after a week of going back and forth to the Dr. and Hospital I really needed to clean house...
I have made some progress, but my get-up-and-go... Got-up-and-Went.... I just sent my hubby out for a pizza so at least I don't have to cook!!!

I also got some of my little seedlings transplanted into larger pots. They are looking so good, I just wish it were time to plant out side!

My new plant stand with all the lights has been the best thing I ever did. Things are growing really nice. I never realized it would make that much difference having the lights, but it has. I have been growing things in my little portable greenhouse for the last few years next to a window and they did fine, but with the lights more of the seeds are coming up and really looking healthy... The Impatients are going wild!!!

While cleaning I took some random pictures. Trying to keep with a garden theme and a little of my painted things...This is the bottom pot of my stacked pots. I love these posts that you can stack your pots on, or actually stack all kinds of things. This set even has a basket lamp on it...
Here's the picture of the whole thing...This is a painted pot on top the cabinets right by the sky lights. So things grow well here...

This is a painted table I probably painted 8 years ago... Just a cute little village...
Have a good one,
Lynn

The starlings are nesting at my house and the house sparrow at yours. I don't particularly care for either one, but it is fun to watch the spring birdie festivities!

With Herman around, you will have lots of entertainment outside your window this spring.

Glad to hear your parents are home from the hospital; I hope they are doing well. Housecleaning is at the bottom of my priority list, but sometimes you just can't stand it anymore:)

Glad to hear your seedlings are doing well. I started small this year, but if it goes well I definitely want to expand next year. A plant stand with multiple lights sounds like a great idea.

Glad your parents are doing better.
Your painting is so gorgeous. I love your tipsy pots for indoors too!

Nice to hear good news about your Mom and Dad. Isn't it great to be able to just order a pizza when you are tired? Your painted things are so well done...what a talent.

I love that first picture! Hey check out my page! Maybe you or one of your flowery friends can help me out with a tomato issue.
