This was the view from my front porch tonight... I really don't like Fall because I know Winter is so close behind. BUT the trees are beautiful. The sun was hitting them just right tonight and made them look like they were on fire. Hope everyone has a great week!!! Lynn
What a stunning photo..you should click on The Home Garden in my bloglist. Go to the end of his post and click on the collage Fall Project...this picture so qualifies!!
That is a beautiful shot! It must have been stunning in person! I'm not much into fall, either...but at this point, I have no choice! I went out for the first time and took some photos around the neighborhood. The 'peak' of the season has about passed but I still found some beauty in it all. In my heart, though, I'm a spring person;-) Are you near Marietta, OH? I worked at the college there many yrs ago (in the '80s). Parkersburg W.V. was right across the river. I haven't checked on a map, but for some reason, Marion Co. sounds familiar.
I live in North Central West Virginia, I am 57 years old and have been married to the same wonderful man for 38 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters and a new son-in-law and 2 dogs.
I love to grow things, lots of things. But most of all I love flowers. Spring can't come too soon for me each year. I usually start planting and propagating in early February. Just so I can play in some soil. This is a great outlet for me.
I was also a Tole and Decorative Painting teacher for 27 years. I had artwork featured at the Whitehouse, Smithsonian, and the Blairhouse in Washington,DC.
In 2004 I was invited for dinner at the Whitehouse with the other artists featured at Christmas. It was amazing.
